"Slime Time"
FUN FACT: Did you know that SLIME was invented by Mattel Toys in 1976. While creating slime, the toy company wanted the oozing substance to be gross as possible!

"Make Germs Scatter"
The discovery of seeing the impact soap makes on destroying viruses.

"Pipe Cleaner Challenge"
WE love ice breakers! This was a fun way to start our STEAM club!

"Magic Milk"
We learned that milk is made up of minerals, proteins and fats. When the dish soap enters the milk the fat begins to break up. The soap molecules run around and try to attach to the fat molecules in the milk.
Normally this process would be invisible to us, but the food coloring helped us to see all of the movement taking place.

"Marshmallow Towers"
Marshmallows are not just for rice krispy treats and sphaghetti noodles are not just for spaghetti!

"Popsicle Stick Catapult"
Engineering Challenge: We created a popsicle stick catapult to launch items and to see who which items would go the farthest distance?
